Harm Reduction Guide To Coming Off Psychiatric Drugs & Withdrawal | The Icarus Project.

During the workshop at the recent conference in Des Moines Iowa, we shared some general information on whats going on around the world and in our own country with reducing reliance on psychotropic drugs to manage distress.

This link (above) takes you to a website with a more in depth look at the Icarus Project that has been around for years and with the current disscussions and awareness of the risks of long term dependence on these drugs, this project is gaining momentum and recognition around the world.

If you are one seeking mental health services, this could be a valuable article and handbook to review and share with your support team, including your physicians as you create your own well thought out plan to achieve your personal goals.

If you are someone who chooses to provide mental health services this may be a valuable tool as you support others who are seeking to understand how to reduce dependence on or withdraw from psychotropic drugs.

The Harm Reduction manual is free to download, print and share.

In appreciation,

Susan
